February 16th to 24th 2013

On Saturday, February 16th we left home at 4:19 am and we arrived in Duluth, Minnesota at 3:56 pm. After we checked in our motel we went to Spirit Mountain in Duluth and did some snow tubing in the evening. Andy had a great time. We traveled 630 miles on this day.

On Sunday, February 17th we drove to the Kitchi-Gammi Park at Brighton Beach on Lake Superior. Lake Superior looked so much different than it does in the Summer when we are in Duluth, it was completly frozen over. After visiting the lake we went to the Walmart Supercenter in Superior, Wisconsin and did our grocery shopping for the week.
On Monday, February 18th we went for a walk in Canal Park. We saw several kinds of ducks on the ice.
On Tuesday, February 19th we went for a walk in Canal Park and visited a antique shop that was down the road from The Suites Hotel. We also went swimming and did some excercising in the exercise room at the hotel.
On Wednesday, February 20th we went to Spirit Mountain in Duluth and did some snow tubing. 

On Thursday, February 21st Janice and Andy did some laundry and we all just relaxed in the suite for the day.
On Friday, February 22nd we went swimming and did some exercising in the exercise room at the hotel.
On Saturday, February 23rd we walked to the aerial lift bridge and visited the Lake Superior Marine Museum. In the afternoon we went swimming and did some exercising in the exercise room at the hotel.
On Sunday, February 24th we left Duluth, MN at 5:12 am and we returned home at 5:18 pm. We traveled 638 miles on this day.

Total miles traveled on this trip = 1339.
