May 12-15, 2009

On Tuesday, May 12th I left Columbia, MO at 8:55 am. I arrived in Chicago, IL at 4:50 pm. I went to Chicago, IL because my dad and I attended the General Growth Properties, Inc. annual shareholders meeting that was held on Wednesday, May 13th. On this day I visited the Sears Tower. I went up to the 99th floor.  The cars looked like toys and there was a lot of tall buildings.

I traveled 390 miles on this day.

On Wednesday, May 13th I attended the General Growth Properties, Inc. annual shareholders meeting at 9:00 am. On this morning when walking downtown Chicago to the meeting it was raining and I had to use my umbrella. There were so many people walking to work. It was hard not to bump into all of the umbrellas. It looked like a field of mushrooms. I was laughing all the way to the meeting because it was so windy and my umbrella was blowing everywhere. I had to really hold onto the umbrella tightly to keep it from blowing away. After attending the meeting I visited the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, IL. I saw my favorite display there, the Switzerland Jollyball Coaster. After visiting the Science Museum I met up with my mom this evening in St. Charles, MO.  She had a accounting seminar to attend to there till Friday at noon.
I traveled 357 miles on this day.

On Thusday, May 14th I visited the St. Louis Science Center in the afternoon.

On Friday, May 15th I left the hotel in St Charles, MO at 12:00 pm and returned to Columbia at 1:40 pm.  I traveled 894 miles on this trip.
